Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Instill Safety as a top priority
• Provide on‑site supervision and direction to crew members
• Be familiar with project specifications and able to understand plans
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of equipment and personnel capacities
• Ensure crew time cards are filled out and submitted weekly
• Fill out daily foreman reports
• Analyze and resolve issues that may arise unexpectedly
• Explain and understand survey and grade staking (Lasers, Transits, and GPS)
• Manage all excavating activities for your crew
• Other duties may be assigned

Experience, Education & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years as a foreman/supervisor in highway heavy civil construction
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices
• Familiarity with heavy equipment
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work with tools and equipment, such as power and non‑power tools
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and periodic lifting up to 50 lbs
• Positive attitude and excellent motivational skills
• Time management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
