Job summary

Cadillac Asphalt is seeking a Grade Crew Foreman with a commercial background to lead the Grade Crew. You will demonstrate a commitment to the company’s Safety First Always philosophy and coordinate work across multiple locations.

The role requires supervision and scheduling duties, with responsibilities including daily planning, truck logistics, and coordination with Project Managers. MDOT experience is a plus, and a strong knowledge of grading operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• MDOT experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D grading operations and equipment.
• Ability to read and set grade stakes and to read and understand plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan work daily for the next day.
• Calculate the number of trucks required to haul material.
• Coordinate material deliveries with Project Managers and Logistics.
• Set up and manage trucking for daily work activities.
• Supervise and coordinate workers and activities across locations.
• Tour work sites to monitor progress and utilization of workers and equipment.
• Complete daily and accident reports as required.
