Qualifications

• Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade level.
• ESL license or SEI Endorsement.
• Meet state guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.
• Authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks and develop student portfolios.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays within the general curriculum.
• Write and monitor IEP goals with regular progress reports.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing, develop curriculum as needed, and prepare for MCAS Alternative Assessment progress.
• Collaborate with school staff to support modifications and student needs.
