Randolph Public School District is seeking a qualified Grade 5 Long Term Substitute Teacher for Margaret L. Donovan School in Randolph, MA.

The assignment runs approximately 09/21/26–12/23/26, with a daily rate of $250 for the first 20 days and $307 for any subsequent days. The candidate will implement curriculum, document progress, collaborate with families and staff, and provide engaging instruction aligned to district standards.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Teacher License in Elementary 1-6
• Experience working in a diverse and/or multi-cultural setting
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Master degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school personnel, parents and various community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions and planning curriculum.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
• Promote equity and appreciation of diversity
• Maintain classroom management
• Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement
• Plan and deliver effective instruction
• Administers group standardized tests in accordance with district and state testing program
• Participates in curriculum development programs as required.
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal
