Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Elementary Education license (1-6) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate license; Master’s Degree preferred and expected within 5 years.
• Highly qualified with required competency in the content area.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes as designated.
• Plans program of study meeting student needs and abilities.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment and communicates clear objectives.
• Guides learning to meet district curriculum goals and communicates progress to students and parents.
• Maintains accurate records as required by policy and law.
• Assesses student progress and participates in required evaluation processes.
• Participates in district meetings and ongoing professional growth.

Education

Elementary Education license (1-6)

Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate license

Master’s Degree with license preferred (within 5 years)
