Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Gradall Operator based in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves operating a Gradall Excavator and various construction machinery like skid steers and dozers, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

This equipment may include, but is not limited to skid steers, backhoes, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment.**Requirements:** * Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.* A Class A CDL is strongly desired.* Experience operating equipment, and the ability to operate a Gradall.* Able to read and understand grade stakes, automated machine control cab displays, etc.* Depending on assignment, able to properly utilize equipment to accomplish tasks involving grade, slope, yield, etc. as needed.* Depending on assignment, able to safely maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic and utilities.* Clean, maintain and secure all equipment.* Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.* Assist with repairs as needed.* High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.* Punctual and dependable.* Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.* Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.* When not operating equipment, be willing to labor as needed.* Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member are required. Union membership is not required prior to employment.
