The role requires maneuvering equipment in tight spaces, maintaining all equipment, and following safety procedures.

We’re looking for an Operator responsible for operating a Gradall Excavator along with several other types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, skid steers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, read and understand grade stakes and automated machine control cab displays, properly utilize equipment to accomplish tasks involving grade, slope, yield, and other parameters as needed. Maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic and utilities. Clean, maintain and secure all equipment. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Assist with repairs as needed. Labor as required when not operating equipment.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. A Class A CDL is strongly desired. Experience operating equipment and the ability to operate a Gradall. High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Punctual and dependable. Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed. Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and in dirty and dusty environments.
Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member, is required. Union membership is not required prior to employment.
