Job summary

Qualifications

• 12–24 months current experience as a server or captain.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
• Provide prompt, efficient and gracious service, describe menu items, take orders, use POS system, ensure timely service.
• Settle all checks, handle cash, credit, room charge, gift certificates and city ledgers.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of service areas per procedures.
• Work quickly and safely at all times.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Be familiar with restaurant services/features and local attractions to answer inquiries.
• Participate in safety programs and adhere to safety requirements.
