Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. seeks a senior GPU verification engineer in the San Jose area to drive top-level verification across the graphics pipeline.

You will verify front-end and back-end graphics units, shader cores, and end-to-end data flow, ensuring high-performance rendering and correctness. The role requires deep knowledge of C++, Python, SystemVerilog, Verilog, and UVM, along with a strong understanding of GPU architecture and 3D graphics APIs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/relevant technical field, or 13+ years with a Master’s, or 11+ years with a PhD.
• In-depth knowledge of the graphics pipeline, front-end and end-to-end pipeline.
• Expertise in C++ and Python.
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog, and UVM for testbench development.
• Familiarity with GPU architecture and design principles.
• Understanding of graphics concepts including 3D graphics, shaders, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Verify the top-level GPU design and its components to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform end-to-end verification of the graphics pipeline from input to output.
• Debug verification issues and collaborate with the design team to resolve them.
• Ensure integration of front-end, back-end, and shader cores for high-performance rendering.

GPU TOP LEVEL VERIFICATION. C/C++ CODING. UVM TESTBENCH DEVELOPMENT FROM SCTRACH.

• You perform design verification of the graphics core components, including the front-end graphics (control, geometry), back-end graphics (rasterization, pixel processing), and shader cores, to ensure they function as expected and work together seamlessly to deliver high-performance graphics rendering.
• You verify the top-level GPU design, including the integration of various components and features, to certify that it meets the required specifications.
• You perform end-to-end design verification of the GPU core, covering the entire graphics pipeline from input to output, confirming that the entire graphics pipeline is functioning correctly.
• You debug issues found during verification and work with the design team to resolve them.
