Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and optimize GPU clusters for enterprise AI mission systems. You will work with Linux-based platforms, drive performance improvements, and collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate GPUs across the stack.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II capabilities, and hands-on experience with NVIDIA data center platforms. You will contribute to system security, automation, and documentation in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU data center platforms (DGX, HGX, H200, H100, L4s).
• Knowledge of enterprise server components (storage/network controllers, HBAs, SSDs).
• Strong Linux expertise (RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle, Rocky).
• IAT Level II certification required; Level III acceptable.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain GPU clusters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize architectures for performance and power.
• Work with AI/ML engineers to integrate GPUs with Linux-based systems.
• Optimize GPU drivers for reliability and performance.
• Analyze GPU performance and identify bottlenecks across hardware and software.
• Build and maintain debugging tools and profiling utilities for Linux.
• Leverage Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, and Salt for tooling and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation and Linux best practices.
• Support ATO activities and ensure compliance with federal security standards.
