Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a GPU Systems Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design, implement, and optimize GPU clusters within secure government environments. The role emphasizes Linux-based integration, driver optimization, and collaboration with AI/ML engineers.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications, and experience with NVIDIA data center platforms. On-site work and strong cybersecurity compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU data center platforms (DGX/HGX/L4s/H100/H200).
• Strong Linux experience and scripting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain GPU clusters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize architectures for performance and power efficiency.
• Integrate GPUs with Linux-based systems for AI/ML workloads.
• Optimize GPU drivers for reliability and performance.
• Analyze GPU performance and identify bottlenecks across hardware/software.
• Develop tools for debugging, profiling, and performance analysis on Linux.
• Maintain documentation and architecture specs; support security/compliance activities.
