Job summary

Talanto is seeking a senior AI Storage Infrastructure Engineer to deploy and operate high-performance NFS-based storage for GPU-accelerated compute and AI platforms. You will integrate storage into Kubernetes via CSI, optimize data paths, and automate provisioning with Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps pipelines in various deployment environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE or hardware/storage ops.
• 5+ years building/operating distributed storage at scale.
• 7+ years Linux and Kubernetes storage fundamentals (NFS, CSI).
• 1+ year integrating/building high-performance storage solutions (VAST, Weka, DDN, PowerScale).

Responsibilities

• Integrate NFS-based high-performance storage into Kubernetes via CSI and storage classes.
• Tune the NFS data path for high-throughput, low-latency GPU/AI workloads.
• Automate storage provisioning with Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD/Flux).
