Job summary

Apple in Austin, TX is seeking a GPU Performance Analysis Engineer to partner with architecture, design, and software teams to analyze, tune, and debug next-generation GPU architectures.

You will develop performance test plans, identify bottlenecks, and build tools to measure and communicate GPU improvements, enabling high-performance, power-efficient designs and robust software support.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in computer architecture.
• Experience with Verilog, C and C++.
• Experience with scripting language Python.

Responsibilities

• Developing performance test plans to validate GPU performance.
• Analyzing performance issues to identify hardware and software problems.
• Proposing novel hardware solutions to improve GPU performance.
• Developing tools to aid in the efficient measurement, communication and improvement of GPU performance.
• Validating the functionality and quantify the performance benefit of the features and algorithms implemented in hardware and software.
