Job summary

Oracle Corporation is seeking a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer to lead GPU infrastructure operations in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will develop and maintain automation, tooling, and observability to ensure high availability of GPU fleets across regions.

• Extensive experience leading GPU infrastructure operations.
• Proven ability to build automation and operational tooling.
• Experience with monitoring and diagnostics using Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation and tooling for OCI GPU infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations teams for a highly available GPU fleet.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics for fleet health and capacity (Grafana).
• Serve as senior escalation point for GPU host and repair issues.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis to remove blockers.
• Improve AI2 Ops processes, GPU fleet automation, and OCI region build readiness.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support critical infrastructure issues.
• Document runbooks, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Build and improve AI agents, ensuring safe rollout and monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers in operational best practices.
