Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electronics Technician for on-site duties in La Vergne, TN. The role supports the Quality Returns Verification Team, performing GPU inspection, assembly, and testing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strict ESD practices.

The project is a 3-month contract with extension or conversion potential, offering hourly pay on W2 and emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Day-to-day responsibilities include log keeping and routine hardware handling.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions, checklists, and defined processes.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, disassembly, and installation of computer systems and hardware components.
• Able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support accurate execution and documentation.
• Able to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual inspection, handling, and cleaning of GPUs in accordance with ESD and work-instruction requirements.
• Install and remove GPUs, test them across multiple systems using a proprietary test suite, log results accurately in the data capture tool.
• Support basic system troubleshooting by assisting with physical inspections, component swaps, and cable checks using prescribed steps.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace by returning tools and components to designated locations after use.
• Execute mechanical tasks: assembling, disassembling, handling, inspecting, cleaning, operating, and maintaining computer hardware and test platforms.
