Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year data center experience or similar hands-on role.
• Strong understanding of computer networking, LANs, Ethernet.
• Familiarity with GPU systems; electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with clients and teammates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or in a team.
• Experience supporting on-call technicians and responding to critical events.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack data center equipment including servers, networking gear, and monitoring systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot hardware to minimize downtime.
• Provide excellent client service by addressing questions and issues promptly.
• Read and follow schematics for network installations and upkeep.
• Maintain clear records, including diagrams and equipment logs.
• Diagnose hardware problems related to networking and failed components.
• Participate in on-call and on-site emergency support as needed.
• Engage in ongoing training to learn new data center concepts.
