Job summary

Massed Compute is seeking hands-on Data Center Technicians for 1099 contract roles in New York. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, providing excellent client service and rapid response to issues on-site.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in data centers, strong networking knowledge, and familiarity with GPU systems. On-site work with on-call support and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center or service technician roles (1+ year preferred).
• Strong understanding of computer networking (LAN, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with GPU systems; electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack data center equipment (servers, networking gear, monitoring systems).
• Run cabling, including Cat6a installations.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
