Job summary

Nebius is hiring a Data Center Technician to support and optimize our Kansas City data center. You will diagnose hardware issues, troubleshoot infrastructure, and work hands-on with GPU cloud hardware, cables, and networking gear on site.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, contractor partners, and documentation of configurations and procedures. A strong Linux baseline, network and fiber knowledge, and a proactive mindset are required to keep critical systems running.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues.
• Strong understanding of data center operations.
• Basic Linux skills and familiarity with command-line tools.
• Experience with enterprise-grade network switches and fiber optics.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis.
• Proactive, responsible and goal-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve IT hardware issues to support continuous data center operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors on technical challenges.
• Install, upgrade and dismantle hardware per requests.
• Maintain fiber optic connectivity and patch cables.
• Plan and monitor routine IT tasks to improve infrastructure operations.
• Process RMAs per manuals and procedures.
• Develop clear documentation for hardware configuration and maintenance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage workflows.
• Lead and manage specific projects or processes.
• Track progress on ongoing initiatives.
