Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a software tests engineer focused on compiler quality and performance. You will analyze regressions, automate test suites, and collaborate with compiler developers to deliver robust test solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ work experience in a software development or test organization.
• Excellent communications skills, self-motivated and well organized.
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Software Testing Methodologies.
• Compiler Domain Expertise: understand compilers and implementations; strong problem solving.
• Ability to work with diverse teams to fix performance regressions under tight schedules and detailed-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance degradation or functional defects of compilers, identify root cause, and suggest corrective action.
• Automate compiler testing using NVIDIA frameworks and programming.
• Utilize test suites to find, report and track performance changes and drive regressions to resolution.
• Develop and review test plans, implement test cases, automate tests, and integrate tests into NVIDIA test management frameworks.
• Identify process weaknesses and participate in quality initiatives.
