Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Verification Engineer, Compute Performance to join the Compiler Verification Team in Santa Clara, CA. You will analyze performance, automate tests, and drive improvements across the compiler testing lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with compiler developers, port tests, and contribute to data-driven performance analysis in a fast-paced, cutting-edge AI computing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ work experience in a software development or test organization.
• Excellent communications skills, self-motivated and well organized.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, HPC, and software testing methodologies.
• Compiler domain expertise with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to collaborate with multiple teams to diagnose performance regressions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance degradation or functional defects in compilers and identify root causes.
• Automate compiler testing using NVIDIA frameworks and programming languages, including test execution and reporting.
• Use test suites to report and track compiler performance changes and drive regressions to resolution.
• Develop and review test plans, implement tests, and port existing tests into automation frameworks.
• Identify weaknesses in processes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
