Job summary

Entrust Solutions Group is seeking a GPS Technician to support our gas utility team in Nebraska or Colorado. You will collect GPS data, update facility records, and coordinate with locators on work plans in the field.

Ideal candidates will read maps, use electronic locators, and communicate project updates to clients. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for field travel.

Qualifications

• Experience performing GPS data collection for gas infrastructure or similar assets.
• Ability to read and interpret maps; experience leading small teams is preferred.
• Experience locating facilities with electronic locators when needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for field and client updates.
• Field-based work with willingness to travel and work in outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

We have a current need for an GPS Technician based in Nebraska or Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate GPS data collection of existing gas infrastructure to ensure up-to-date facility records.
• Collaborate with locators to develop and execute work plans for designated areas.
• Serve as a liaison to the public, effectively communicating project updates and ensuring transparency on behalf of the client.

Requirements

• Previous GPS data collection experience with natural gas infrastructure is preferred; GPS proficiency is required.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, with experience leading small teams.
• Skilled in locating facilities using electronic locators, as necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enjoys working in the field
• Possession of a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record is an ongoing requirement.
