Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related heavy civil experience, focus on roads/highways/bridges.
• Ability to operate motor graders and use GPS grade control effectively.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and maneuver equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-start inspections and monitor engine gauges.
• Operate motor grader with GPS and automatic grade control as required.
• Read and execute plans and grade standards accurately.
• Scrape, shape, blade, and level to fine-grade specs including shoulders/slopes.
• Notify supervisor for service/repair and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Support other crafts and perform incidental duties as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
