Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled laborer to safely perform GPS survey and machine control system duties, along with general site tasks. You will operate Topcon GPS/GNSS equipment, read project drawings, stake sites, and support utility installations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year in construction, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. You will follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and contribute to project success on various site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of related construction experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of site work and utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report problems to supervisor.
• Read and interpret project drawings relevant to site work.
• Establish and maintain site layout and construction staking.
• Establish and check grade for utility installations.
• Support GPS motor grader and/or paver.
• Perform daily site inspections with proper documentation.
• Perform general labor tasks as required for project completion.
• Work with TOPCON GPS/GNSS machine and ground control equipment.
• Work at aggregate pits, ready-mix, asphalt and construction sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
