Job summary

ITS Logistics is seeking a Trailer Logistics Specialist in Reno to maintain GPS tracking of the trailer network and coordinate cost-effective shipments. You will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, compliant trailer movements across our network.

The role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in transportation/logistics. Proficiency with TMS and Excel is a plus, with multitasking in a fast-paced environment expected.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve logistical issues.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations preferred.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Excel is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GPS functionality across the trailer fleet and maintain real-time tracking.
• Research trailer locations and keep custody/movement records up to date.
• Identify and resolve issues related to out-of-network or misplaced trailers.
• Coordinate trailer shipments with internal teams and external vendors.
• Secure carriers for trailer moves using pre-established rates and processes.
• Provide timely updates and creative solutions to ensure smooth trailer operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
