Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking an experienced GPS Dozer Operator to join our field operations team in Belton, SC.

This role requires operating GPS-equipped dozers on heavy civil and site development projects, with a focus on safe, precise equipment operation and adherence to project specifications. On active construction sites, you will work outdoors, read and interpret plans and grade stakes, and coordinate with foremen and crews to maintain productivity while upholding safety standards and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Experience operating GPS-equipped dozers on heavy civil or site development projects.
• Experience with GPS or grade control systems preferred.
• Ability to understand grading concepts, elevations, slopes and basic construction math.
• Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, cut/fill information, and project specs.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow company policies and site rules.
• Good communication and teamwork with foremen, superintendents and crew.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate GPS-equipped dozers to perform mass excavation, rough grading, finish grading and related tasks.
• Use GPS grade control to maintain elevations, slopes and grades per plans and field direction.
• Read site plans, stakes and project specs to complete work accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily with foremen, survey crews and other operators to maintain production and safety.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and report maintenance needs; keep equipment clean and ready.
• Follow all safety requirements and use of PPE; participate in safety meetings.
• Assist with general site labor as needed to support the crew.
• Perform other duties to support field operations and project completion.
