Job summary

GSK is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead end-to-end improvement initiatives across the site, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. You will coach frontline teams, implement GPS standards, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, MSAT, engineering, EHS and supply chain to embed sustainable improvements.

On-site role with opportunities to leverage Lean/Six Sigma, data analytics and digital tools to turn insights into actions, with measurable business impact

As a GPS Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead continuous improvement activities across the site to improve performance around safety, quality, delivery, cost and people pillars. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, MSAT, engineering, EHS and supply chain teams to identify opportunities, run improvement projects, and embed sustainable ways of working. Partner with stakeholders across functions to remove barriers and ensure changes are implemented and measured.

Working pattern

This role is on-site. You will be expected to work on-site regularly to engage with frontline teams and attend meetings. Some remote work is supported to enable flexible collaboration in case by case basis.

Why You?

Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field such as math, science, technology, Stem etc.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• 8+ years of experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence or production-system deployment in an operating environment.
• 4+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing, such as biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device or a comparable environment.
• GxP or FDA experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience teaching and coaching continuous improvement including problem solving using DMAIC or A3 methodologies
• 1+ years of experience with strategy deployment (Hoshin Kanri) at site or business-unit level
• 1+ year of experience building or strengthening a Lean management system
• 1 + years of experience leading cross-functional change

Preferred Qualification

• Line leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain with direct accountability for operational performance.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
• Experience designing and delivering capability building programs
• Experience establishing or improving an employee improvement-idea process, with evidence of participation, implementation and sustained use.
• Experience using data and analytics in improvement work and assessing where digital, automation or AI can add value.
• Proven track record delivering measurable operational improvements.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Practical knowledge of ERP or MES systems and industrial analytics.
• Project management experience, including sprint planning and dependency management.
• Experience developing leaders and building capability at scale.
• Familiarity with statistical tools or process capability analysis.
