Job summary

GSK is seeking a GPS Continuous Improvement Manager at our King of Prussia site to lead end-to-end process improvement across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will coach teams, deploy GPS standards, and drive measurable business impact through data analytics and structured problem solving.

This on-site role partners with manufacturing, quality, MSAT, engineering, EHS and supply chain to identify opportunities and deliver sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • 8+ years of experience leading continuous improvement in an operating environment.
  • 4+ years in regulated manufacturing (biopharma/pharma/medical device) preferred.
  • 2+ years teaching and coaching continuous improvement (DMAIC or A3).
  • 1+ years of strategy deployment at site or business-unit level.
  • 1+ year building or strengthening a Lean management system.
  • 1+ year leading cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

As a GPS Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead continuous improvement activities across the site to improve performance around safety, quality, delivery, cost and people pillars . You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, MSAT, engineering , EHS and supply chain team s to ide ntify opportunities, run improvement projects, and embed sustainable ways of working.   • Lead end-to-end continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma to improve safety, qual ity, del ivery and cost.

Working pattern

This role is on-site . You will be expected to work on-site regularly to engage with frontline teams and attend meetings. Some remote work is supported to enable flexible collaboration in case by case basis.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field such as math , science, technology , Stem etc .
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • 8+ years of experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence or production-system deployment in an operating environment .
  • 4+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing such as biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device or a comparable environment. G x P or FDA experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience t eaching and c oaching continuous improvement including problem solving using DMAIC or A3 metho dologies
  • 1+ years of experience with strategy deployment (Hoshi n Kan ri) at site or business-unit level
  • 1+ year of e xperience building or strengthening a Lean management system
  • 1 + years of e xperience leading cross-functional change
Preferred Qualification
  • L ine leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain with direct accountability for operational performance.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
  • Experience designing and delivering capability bu ilding programs
  • Experience establishing or improving an employee improvement-idea process, with evidence of participation, implementation and sustained use.
  • Experience using data and analytics in improvement work and assessing where digital, automation or AI can add value.
  • Proven track record delivering measurable operational improvements.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Practical knowledge of ERP or MES systems and industrial analytics.
  • Project management experience, including sprint planning and dependency management.
  • Experience developing leaders and building capability at scale.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools or process capability analysis.
