Job summary

Penhall Company is seeking GPR Analyst and Subsurface Analyst professionals to join our field team across the United States. These roles involve non-destructive subsurface investigation to identify utilities and embedded structures, enabling safe excavation and construction.

Travel will be extensive, up to 90% of the time, with periods away from home including nights and weekends. Qualified candidates have at least two years in GPR, X-ray scanning, utility locating, or concrete scanning, and a

• Minimum 2 years in GPR, X-ray scanning, utility locating, or concrete scanning.
• Commitment to quality and safety.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, including evenings, overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigative scanning on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites.
• Collect and analyze field data to designate structural embeds (rebar, conduits, cables).
• Locate underground utilities (sewer, water, communications, gas, electrical).
• Travel for training and service support.
• Mark scanned areas per Penhall’s marking protocol.
• Document field work with reports, sketches, photos.
• Review project scope with site personnel before starting.
