Job summary

Penhall Company seeks a GPR Analyst to perform nondestructive testing using GPR and other scanning technologies to identify embedded objects in concrete and subsurface materials. You will deliver accurate scanning results to support safe construction operations and ensure field work meets safety standards, client expectations, and company protocols.

The role requires interpreting GPR data, maintaining detailed field records, and coordinating with customers and dispatch for timely service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training in GPR, NDT, or construction scanning preferred.
Minimum two years of GPR/utility/concrete scanning experience.
OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification preferred (can be obtained upon hire).

Responsibilities

Operate GPR equipment to perform scanning services on various job sites.
Analyze scan data in real-time to locate rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, and voids.
Locating underground utilities.
Travel for training and service support.
Accurately mark scanned areas per Penhall's marking protocol.
Complete field documentation including reports, sketches, and photos.
Communicate results, safety considerations, and next steps to customers.
Perform pre- and post-job inspections of equipment and report malfunctions.
