Job summary

Penhall Company is seeking a GPR Analyst to perform nondestructive testing using Ground Penetrating Radar and other scanning technologies on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites. The role emphasizes accurate interpretation, safety, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include real-time data analysis, marking results, documenting field activities, and communicating findings to clients. Travel to job sites and participation in training may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training in GPR, NDT, or construction scanning is preferred.
• Prior experience with GPR, X-ray, utility locating or concrete scanning services is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (can be obtained on hire).

Responsibilities

• Operate GPR equipment to perform scanning on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites.
• Analyze scan data in real-time to locate rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, and voids.
• Locate underground utilities and travel for training and service support.
• Complete thorough field documentation including reports, sketches, and photos.
• Communicate results, safety considerations, and next steps to customers.
