Job summary

Core Group is seeking a field technician to support concrete coring and slab modification projects across Middle Tennessee. You will operate GPR scanners to locate rebar and conduits, then set up and perform precise core drilling with appropriate equipment.

Ideal candidates are hard-working, punctual, and willing to travel to multiple job sites. OSHA-style safety practices, ability to lift 50-75 lbs, and valid driver's license are required for on-site work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Hard worker with reliable work ethic
• Commercial construction experience preferred
• Experience operating power tools and heavy equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in varying site conditions (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces)
• Punctual
• Willingness to travel to job sites across Middle Tennessee

Responsibilities

• Operate with a spirit of ownership and entrepreneurial mindset
• Perform GPR scans to locate rebar, PT cables, conduits, and other in slab obstructions
• Complete concrete coring with precision and proper equipment setup
• Interpret scan data and communicate findings to site teams
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and jobsite safety standards
• Document work performed and support field operations as needed
