Job summary

Texas Cutting & Coring | Texas Curb Cut is looking for a Full-time Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Technician in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of concrete scanning experience, operate advanced GPR equipment, and perform manual labor on various construction sites. Responsible for generating scanning reports and troubleshooting equipment issues, this role also requires strong communication and teamwork skills. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(K) and more.

Requirements

• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Pass a drug test.
• Manual/physical labor: lift 60 lbs or more and be mobile.
• Authorized to work in the United States via E‑Verify.

Job Role

Candidate must have at least 2 years of concrete scanning experience and be willing to work long hours.

• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, punctual and dependable team player.
• Professional with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working on small to large construction sites.
• Interface with superintendents on job sites.
• Possess practical communication skills; oral and written.
• Not afraid of hard work.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights/weekends as needed.
• Potential/occasional travel out of town/state.
• Help maintain a drug‑free work environment.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Additional Skills / Information

• Work independently and in a team setting.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Coordinate and perform concrete scans of slabs and decks using GSSI GPR equipment to locate buried structures—rebar, post‑tension cables, conduit, electrical wires, and pipes; utility locating, bridge inspection.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Generate scanning reports when required.
• Interpret scan results and convey concrete obstructions to customers.
• Prior GPR scanning experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
