MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a GP12 Inspector to join our Quality team in Saline, Michigan. This role is vital in ensuring that our products meet quality standards through inspections, audits, and support for production activities.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience in quality inspection, preferably with knowledge of injection molding processes. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding processes and/or components is preferred.

• Conduct internal audits and communicate results to Supervisors and Quality Manager.
• Perform inspections including receiving and dimensional checks.
• Support Production and Engineering during tool trials.

• Carry out production floor audits and verify shipping labels.

Job description

We are seeking a GP12 Inspector to join our Quality team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet both company and customer quality standards. You will perform inspections, conduct audits, and support containment activities to maintain the highest levels of product quality. Working closely with Production and Engineering teams, you'll play a vital role in problem‑solving, documentation, and driving continuous improvement.

Night Shift Schedule

Monday‑Wednesday 12:00am‑6:15am and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm‑6:15am.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits (system, process, and product) and communicate results to Supervisors and the Quality Manager.
• Perform product inspections, including receiving inspections and dimensional checks.
• Support Production and Engineering teams during tool trials and daily operations.
• Lead and participate in quality containment actions when required.
• Carry out production floor audits, including gaging, process book checks, and sorting.
• Verify shipping labels to ensure they match production labels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of work experience in a quality inspection role.
• Experience with injection molding processes and/or components (preferred).
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
