A leading healthcare provider is seeking a General Practice Nurse responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care. The role involves patient health checks, immunisations, and chronic disease management, working collaboratively with a dedicated team. Candidates should possess a Nursing Degree, current NMC Registration, and experience in primary care. This position offers flexible working arrangements and a competitive salary.
The general practice nurse is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the entire practice population.
Provide routine patient care and assist with procedures as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs.
Deliver evidence-based practice for patients with long-term conditions and manage preventative nursing interventions for all patients.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the whole general practice team and report to the Nurse Manager.
Work in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Code of Conduct (NMC).

Professional Role
Work effectively as part of a team, support others, delegate appropriately, and support the development of team members. Support the locality lead nurse in operational and clinical standards, participate in audits, maintain professional registration, and engage in CPD. Record patient data accurately and work collaboratively with colleagues. Support operational management tasks as delegated, promote evidence-based practice, and ensure policies are implemented.

Salary: £40,000 to £57,000 per year, depending on experience.
