Job summary

Mission Staffing seeks an Associate for GP Fund Accounting to gain exposure to complex fund accounting, carry and co-investment structures, and senior stakeholders across a collaborative finance organization.

Key duties include supporting new incentive plans, maintaining full accounting records, capital calls, and distributions, and collaborating with internal teams and external auditors. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Big 4 or fund accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA exam parts passed preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage priorities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with ownership of challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support the origination, development, and launch of new incentive and compensation-related plans.
• Prepare and maintain full accounting records, including monthly and quarterly reporting and analytical reviews.
• Prepare capital calls and distributions for investment-related entities.
• Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Tax, Compliance, Analytics, Compensation, and other internal teams on reporting and ad hoc requests.
• Liaise with external auditors on statutory fund audits.
• Support onboarding and administration of employee investment and incentive programs.
• Participate in initiatives to streamline, automate, and improve existing processes.
