Job summary

LMG Staffing Solutions is seeking a detailed Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations, vendor management, subcontract administration, and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of experience in purchasing or contracts, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Deltek, QuickBooks, and SharePoint. Collaboration with finance, operations, and leadership is essential to optimize workflows and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of purchasing/procurement experience
• Experience in government contracting environments preferred
• Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle management and vendor negotiations
• Experience managing RFPs, RFQs, and bid evaluations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, purchasing, subcontract development, and vendor coordination
• Review purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and vendor documentation
• Coordinate procurement planning and bid solicitations across departments
• Conduct cost analyses, market research, and reporting for procurement
• Support vendor performance management and contract negotiations
