American Express Global Business Travel invites you to join our U.S. Military and Government team as a Travel Consultant in Aberdeen, Maryland.

You will provide outstanding customer service to Defense & Government travelers before, during, and after their business trips, arranging domestic and international travel and acting as a trusted advisor. You’ll use Sabre GDS to handle complex itineraries, resolve issues, and suggest options that improve traveler experiences, with a strong emphasis on

Competenze

3+ years of experience as a Travel Consultant
Experience in GDS (Sabre) across local and global markets
U.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contract
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude

Mansioni

Arrange and book domestic and international travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations for corporate clients
Ensure reservations align with client standards and preferences
Act as a trusted advisor and offer informed recommendations for the best traveler experience
Handle bookings ranging from simple to complex with non-standard itineraries
Make changes and resolve issues during or after travel, including exchanges and complex fares
Conduct analysis on travel options and proactively suggest additional services
Utilize Sabre GDS and other tools; primarily support phone-based service
