Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Government Patrol Site in Austin, TX to serve government facilities, monitor and patrol areas, and deter incidents with professional customer service. You will handle access control, report incidents, and work a scheduled DayTime shift.

This full-time role requires 1+ year of security experience, a high school diploma, and background checks; driver license may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and report them per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and direct visitors as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities and relay information to leadership.
