Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, with a focus on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The role focuses on decision makers and influencers within Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery, including Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The manager will collaborate across HCUS to support existing and new initiatives ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet/exceed sales goals by calling on Government hospitals and facilities within assigned geography, focusing on HCUS portfolio products.
  • Drive sales in existing accounts, new customer acquisition, and equipment sales, spending approximately 80% of time on hospital equipment sales.
  • Develop strategic business plans for key government accounts.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and close all portfolio products within assigned targets.
  • Expand existing business and prospect for new opportunities, leveraging specialists and sales team support.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate customer communication and provide market intelligence to optimize HCUS offerings.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations adhering to policies.
  • Follow established booking processes and utilize CRM tools effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records and collaborate with the team to meet sales goals.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure effective communication across departments for successful installations and customer experience.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects as required.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas, collaborate for positive customer experiences, and adhere to business processes.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years in successful medical sales, especially Medical Imaging (preferred).
  • Proven track record in strategic selling and closing sales.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS (preferred).
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet/exceed sales goals, work cross-functionally, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong customer focus, judgment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit, stand, lift, and see clearly as specified.
Travel
  • Up to 80% travel may be required.
