Job summary

MNA Government Relations, LLC is offering a paid internship in Nashville, TN to a detail-oriented candidate with strong writing and research skills. You will attend legislative sessions, observe lawmakers, and prepare reports while building sector knowledge in Tennessee state government.

The role is full-time and in-person, with long and irregular hours from January to May. On-site parking is provided, and interns are paid bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Interest in lobbying, government or law.
• Strong writing, research, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills.
• Flexibility, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Rising Junior, Senior, or recent graduate from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person legislative sessions and committee meetings and provide daily reports.
• Create a weekly newsletter.
• Schedule legislative appointments with House and Senate members.
• Assist with Day On The Hill preparations and appointments.
• Provide occasional support with administrative tasks.
