A leading company in government contracting is searching for an experienced Government Proposal Writer. This role involves high-level research, client interaction, and technical writing to support clients in securing government contracts. Working remotely or in a hybrid format, the ideal candidate will have expertise in government operations, proposal development, and a strong grasp of the FAR clauses.
We are seeking an experienced, qualified, certified Government Proposal Writer to support our government contracting team through high-level research, client interaction, and technical writing. This role is ideal for someone with a background in government operations, economic research, and proposal development that is looking to work either fully remote or in a hybrid situation.
This position will be key in supporting government procurement advisors to offer proposal writing services to clients seeking to win government contracts by responding to solicitations.
Qualifications:
Possess Shipley certification or be an APMP Practitioner/Professional
Proven experience with high-level research, technical writing, or consulting
Deep understanding of the FAR clauses and their applications on client consulting
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ability to synthesize complex information and explain it clearly to others
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools or platforms (experience with CRMs, project management software, etc. is a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on federal and state government programs, policies, and procurement trends
Create compliant proposals in response to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
Compile reports and summaries to assist with internal planning and client consulting sessions
Participate in client meetings to support consulting services and deliver strategic insights
Continuously learn and apply knowledge of government contracting regulations and industry best practices
