Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is seeking a Compliance & Government Property Intern in Marinette, WI. The role supports compliance and government property management, data entry, reporting, and process improvements in a controlled shipyard environment.

The intern may travel domestically and will interact with multiple departments to ensure accountability. A high school diploma and university enrollment are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills.
• Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor.
• Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry, transfer and disposition processes, identifying discrepancies or areas of concern, and supporting corrective actions
• Support audits, inspections, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives related to compliance and government property requirements
• Interact with various departments of the organization to support compliance objectives and ensure accurate accountability of government property
• Other duties may be assigned
