The Government Property Administrator is responsible for managing Government, Customer, and Raytheon-owned property in accordance with company policies, contract requirements, and applicable regulations. The position supports the property management system and may work across multiple phases of the asset lifecycle, including acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, disposition, and contract closeout. The role requires previous experience of government property management and FAR 52.245-1. Responsibilities include overseeing lifecycle management of government and company-owned assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting property-related activities across assigned programs and functions. The position may also include leading small projects or processes, providing guidance to junior staff, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on property management requirements.

What You Will Do

Manage the full lifecycle of property and assets in alignment with program requirements and applicable regulations.

Apply knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 and other relevant regulatory guidance to maintain compliance.

Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to training activities.

Analyze and resolve property-related issues using established procedures and industry standards.

Maintain accurate property records and documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.

Coordinate with external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and government agencies, on property-related inquiries or actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in property control processes and procedures.

Ensure adherence to contract terms, regulatory requirements, and internal policies related to customer-owned property.

Work with site leadership and functional teams to support compliance activities.

Prepare and present property reports and performance metrics.

Conduct physical inventories and reconcile associated records.

Manage property disposition and closeout activities, including loss reporting and contract reconciliations.

Review system-generated reports to identify and address discrepancies or areas for process improvement.

What You Will Learn

You will deepen your expertise in government property management, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and asset lifecycle management while collaborating across programs, customers, and functional teams in a highly regulated defense environment.

Qualifications: Must Have

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience in inventory, government property management, and/or material handling.

Experience in Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with FAR 52.245-1.

Qualifications: Prefer

Management experience related to government property.

NPMA certification.

Experience with Special Program Access or other property management systems.

Experience supporting DCMA or customer audits.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
