The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of General Counsel seeks experienced attorneys with Government Procurement litigation expertise to join our mission‑driven legal team.

This role is on-site at a VA facility and supports VA’s nationwide service to veterans. As an Attorney‑Advisor in OGC, you will shape, defend, and oversee critical procurement actions supporting VA medical centers, clinics, IT systems, and program operations, with opportunity for advancement to GS‑15/SES and

Qualifications

• Experience in Federal Government procurement (FAR/VAAR) preferred.
• Construction, real property, IT contracting, or administrative law experience.
• Strong litigation skills including drafting, negotiating and advising leadership.
• Public service commitment and Veteran-focused mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on Government supply and service contracts.
• Oversee IT contracts ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Handle Sharing Agreements and related issues.
• Represent VA in bid protest litigation (GAO).
• Support Debarment and Suspension actions.
