Job summary

EY’s Government & Infrastructure Assurance practice is seeking a manager to help lead growth in delivering quality assurance services to federal, state, local, and educational clients. You will interact with clients, develop expertise in data integrity within accounting, finance, governance, and regulatory spaces, and manage assurance teams.

You will also contribute to building relationships, steer project management efforts, and leverage EY service lines to identify opportunities where the firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• U.S. CPA license
• Graduate degree in a related field (optional)
• Approximately 5 years of related work experience; or graduate degree with ~4 years of related work experience, including ~2 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm
• Excellent project management skills; advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership
• Integrity within a professional environment
• Travel flexibility up to ~30% for federal practice, ~80% for state/local/education practice

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients
• Develop knowledge by learning about current issues, profession, and business developments
• Build relationships and manage audit teams
• Direct field work and inform supervisors of engagement status
• Manage assurance staff performance
• Apply understanding of complex accounting/auditing concepts to client situations
• Provide guidance and feedback to assurance staff
