The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), located within the U.S. Department of Justice, is seeking a Government Information Assistant to support the FOIA program by certifying and processing legal records, maintaining request information, digitizing case materials, performing quality control, and coordinating record retrieval.
This is a Competitive Service position. Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 level, performing the duties listed
This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. This position supports the Freedom of Information Act program by certifying and processing legal records, maintaining request information, digitizing case materials, performing quality control, and coordinating record retrieval.
This is a Competitive Service position; additional positions may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of certificate issuance. In order to qualify for the Government Information Assistant position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications.
Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service (or comparable experience outside the Federal service), performing 3 or more of the following duties:
