C2 Global Professional Services (C2 GPS) is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial processes within the workforce system in Texas. The role involves analyzing costs, monitoring contracts, preparing year-to-date and forecast analyses, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising fiscal operations, payroll, accounts payable, and monthly closings, plus advising staff on accounting procedures and supporting audits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 24 accounting hours required.
• 4 years accounting experience required; government or government contracting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of workforce development and government grant management.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and database software; MIP is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and supervise staff.

• Oversee procurement and purchasing processes for compliance.
• Plan, assign and supervise fiscal operations team.
• Perform account analyses and monthly reconciliations.
• Design and manage procedures for disbursement of funds.
• Train staff on new accounting procedures.
• Prepare payroll, accounts payable, and revenue records.
• Assist in monthly closing and generation of reports.
• Support audit and monitoring processes.
