Job summary

Lane County is seeking an experienced financial systems professional for a limited-duration role to support the operation, maintenance, and upgrade of County financial software systems.

The role acts as a functional expert and liaison among Finance, Technology Services, users, and vendors, developing user guidance, training, and documentation while ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient financial systems.

Qualifications

• Six years of education and/or experience in municipal budgets, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Experience analyzing business processes and system requirements.
• Ability to coordinate projects and develop user guidance and training.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and user needs to identify system solutions.
• Support upgrades and re-implementations of financial software.
• Develop queries and reports and troubleshoot functional issues.
• Coordinate projects and document business and system requirements.
• Translate complex financial information for diverse audiences.
