Job summary

Sherwood Aviation seeks a U.S. Government Account Manager to lead relationships with DoD, DHS, DOS, FAA and other federal customers, overseeing aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), modification, logistics and aircraft support programs.

You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies, coordinating with BD, PMO, Operations, Maintenance, QA, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver exceptional service and successful contract execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five+ years in account/program management or government contracting.
• Experience with U.S. Government aviation programs preferred.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret contracts, SOWs, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned U.S. Government customers and contracting agencies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with COs, CORs, Program Managers, and defense personnel.
• Manage aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, logistics, and sustainment programs from award to completion.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, QA, Supply Chain, and Finance to meet contract objectives.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and pricing packages; conduct program reviews and status briefings.
