Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Commercial Accounts Receivable Representative to prepare and submit claims, verify insurance eligibility, and resolve billing issues. This remote role requires proximity to one of our support locations and adherence to payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience processing medical claims and billing according to payer guidelines.
• Ability to verify insurance eligibility.
• Strong documentation and data entry skills.
• Comfort working in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and submit account billing in accordance with payer guidelines.
• Verify patient’s insurance eligibility.
• Submit system payer/fee schedule changes when required to supervisor.
• Submit all required documentation with claim and update demographics as needed.
• Access client files to verify information as needed.
• Respond to inquiries regarding account status within policy timelines.
• Resolve account discrepancies and prepare adjustments/refunds for approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activity and document in the system.
• Address problems as they occur and notify supervisor of issues impacting timely submissions.
• Complete all reports according to schedule.
• Perform other tasks to support organizational goals.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with reliable internet connection.
• Remote work requires high-speed internet, hard-wired connection, and meeting speed test of at least 20 Mbps.
